¡Hola! Soy Francisca, fotógrafa y educadora de párvulos.
Luego de 7 años de docencia en aula, decidí dedicar mi amor por la educación y la vida, a la fotografía y conservación de la naturaleza.
Mi interés por la fotografía nació como herencia de mi padre, mi primer maestro.
Poco a poco descubrí en ella un lenguaje universal, posibilitándome compartir experiencias y sensaciones sin necesidad de palabras; en ese momento, mi interés se transformó en pasión.

Creo en la educación a partir del amor.
Es por eso que hoy busco transmitir mi devoción por la naturaleza a través de imágenes, esperando que quienes las vean, puedan conocer parte de ella, apreciarla y cuidarla.

After 7 years of classroom teaching, I have decided to dedicate my love for education and life, to photography and nature conservation.

My interest in photography was born as an inheritance from my father, my first teacher.
Little by little I discovered in it a universal language, enabling me to share experiences and sensations without the need of words; at that moment, my interest turned into a passion.

That is why I seek to transmit my devotion to nature through images, hoping that those who see them, can know part of it, appreciate it and take care of it.

La naturaleza lo es todo, nuestro origen, nuestra casa, nuestro futuro.
Me siento muy afortunada de poder explorar y conocer diferentes lugares de Chile y el Mundo. Es por eso que, cuando estoy en un lugar que llama mi atención, veo la fotografía como un medio para poder compartir mis vivencias con quienes quizás no pueden acceder del mismo modo en el que yo lo he hecho.
No importan las barreras físicas, de tiempo y/o disposición que puedan existir, una foto siempre será una invitación a transportarse a un lugar o momento diferente.

Nature is everything. Our origin, our home, our future.
It's a blessing to know and explore Chile along with the World. Whenever I am in a place that calls my attention, photography gives me the chance to share experiences no matter the chances or access anyone might have.
A photo will always be an invitation to transported yourself to a different place or time.
FAUNA / WILDLIFE
Hay momentos en los que se me hace extraño hablar sobre fauna como si fuese algo externo a nosotros.
Todos fuimos parte de la vida silvestre en un minuto. Creo que ese es el motivo del por qué me atrae tanto descubrir las diferentes especies de los lugares que recorro.
Observar, entender sus conductas y respetar sus espacios, es parte de la interacción necesaria para lograr una conexión, y con ella, una imagen llena de historia y significado.

To talk about wildlife as something strange to our daily life makes me feel off sometimes.
At one point in history, we were all part of wildlife, and that's my guess on why I feel so attracted to the discovering of the species that inhabit the places I visit.
To observe, to understand theirs behaviors and to respect their spaces, it's part of the necessary interaction to build a connection, and with it, a meaningful portrait.

FLORA / FLORA
Plantas; mantienen la atmósfera y proporcionan alimento para gran parte de los seres vivos, incluyéndonos.
Aún así, gran parte de nosotros ni si quiera conocemos su nombres.
La fotografía me ha acercado a ellas, me ha invitado a mirarlas con otros ojos. Sus detalles y estructuras asombran a cualquiera.
De ahí nace mi intención de compartirlas con el resto del mundo, en este caso, a través de la fotografía.

Plants; they contribute to sustain the atmosphere and provide food for a large part of living beings, including us.
Still, most of us don't even know their names.
Photography has brought me closer to them, it invite me to look at them with different eyes. Its details and structures amaze anyone.
That's what drives me to share them also through my photos.
